COLLEGE OF PROFESSIONAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION

College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) was founded in 2002 as a self-financed college of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). CPCE oversees the operation and development of its two educational units, namely Hong Kong Community College (HKCC) and School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED), with the aim of fostering synergy in providing quality education.

CPCE’s vision is to be a leading self-financing tertiary education institution in Hong Kong. Administrative Assistant I (part-time) (several posts) (Ref. 250425-04)
[Appointment period: twelve months]

Duties

The appointees will be required to:

(a) provide clerical assistance in programme administration, office administration and related matters;
(b) assist in various functions, events and activities;
(c) handle telephone enquiries and document preparation;
(d) maintain and update files and databases;
(e) liaise with students, internal staff and other external organisations, and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointees may station on either the PolyU Hung Hom Bay Campus or PolyU West Kowloon Campus.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) at least Grade E/Level 2 or equivalent in five subjects in HKCEE or HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics;
(b) five years of clerical working experience;
(c) good communication skills in English and Chinese (preferably including Putonghua), and
(d) good command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Applicants with higher qualifications but less experience will also be considered.

Conditions of Service

An attractive remuneration rate will be offered.
